Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, on Monday, revealed how his desire to play football was being affected by racial abuse aimed at him.
The 23-year-old, who revealed this in a tearful media appearance ahead of Brasil’s game against Spain at the Bernabeu Santiago on Tuesday, vowed to remain at Madrid despite the abuse he suffered from opposition supporters.

In his words, “Over the years, I have been seeing racism, and whenever i experience it I feel sad.
“Real Madrid is the best club in the world and I won’t leave, I will stay to score as many goals as I can so that these (racists) can keep watching me.”
Vinicius, who broke down in tears at a point, added that playing football is important to him, but fight against racism is more important.
“People sod colour should be able to have a normal lifez and if that happens, I wouldn be able to go to games with playing for my club the only focus on my mind.
“It’s important to play football but fighting racism is more important.”
The winger has suffered so many abuses since joining Madrid and the most notable one was in May with supporters of Valencia which triggered outrage across the world.
However, Vinicius’ Madrid teammate and Spain defender Dani Carvajal denied that his country is racist, sayingz “I am aware that there are ablot of racists here she kostvofvthem are in the stadiums, but Spain is not racist. Since I complained about racism it blew up, I get insulted because of the colour of my skin, and as a result I play worse on the pitch.”
