Six people, including a pastor named Adewale Adelu, have been sentenced to death by an Ondo State High Court in Akure, the state capital. They were involved in two bank robberies that occurred in 2011 in Akure and Idanre. The other five convicts are Ikechuckwu Maduagwu, Fayemi Olubusuyi, Ropo Adeleye, Dele Otopka, and Bayo Omotosho.
