The President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has vowed to keep his electoral promise of powering the entire country.
Tinub reiterated his campaign promise last Friday at Gwagwalada Independent Thermal Power Plant (Phase 1) in Abuja, Mr. Tinubu said,
According to Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the President is trying to find out how he can do away with different problems which are faced by value chain elements of electric power industry.
He added that the All Progressive Congress’ led Government will not stop until it conquers whatever obstructs Nigeria from having stable energy.
Speaking at the event, Tinubu argued that Nigeria should increase its capacity for producing and distributing energy in order to facilitate national development.
Furthermore, he cautioned NNPCL including partners about not taking more than three years as they wind up this very important project.
Nigerians have had no stable electricity for many years now as most use generators in their businesses or houses.
