Reports announced on Tuesday that Juan Vicente Perez Mora, the world’s oldest man as per Guinness World Records in 2022, had died at the age of 114.
According to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s post on X social media platform, “Juan Vicente Perez Mora has gone on his final journey at 114.”
On February 4th, 2022, the Guinness World Records confirmed Perez as being the oldest living man who was born on September 14th, 1909 and has reached a ripe old age of one hundred twelve years and two hundred fifty three days.
A patriarch by 2022, he had produced a total of eleven children who sired forty one grand children bore eighteen great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
Tio Vicente with the full name Juan Vicente Perez Mora was born in El Cobre Tachira an Andean town on May twenty seven nineteen o nine and was the last child out of ten siblings.
Guinness recounted this in 2022: “Working together with their father and brothers, from which time he began working with his father and brothers helping bring in sugar cane and coffee.”
Besides being a farmer, Pérez also worked as a sheriff arbitrating over land and family disagreements.
