Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalalmi Abubakar, on Saturday emphasized on the need of fixing problem facing Nigeria as soon as possible, while he also congratulated President Bola Tinubu’s administration for completing 100 days in office.
According to him, it is important for Nigerians to collaborate with the government to address the challenges of fuel subsidy and insecurity inherited from former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Abubakar also commended Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, on his appointment, acknowledging the tough nature of the information portfolio.
The elder statesman, who said this during a reception organized by the Niger State Government for political figures, emphasized the need for quick changes and unity among Nigerians to overcome these challenges.
Minister Idris stressed the importance of state governments supporting the Federal Government in reorienting Nigerians for meaningful development. He mentioned the continuous distribution of palliatives and the importance of using Nigeria’s diversity for prosperity.
Governor Mohammed Bago congratulated political appointees and pledged to ensure palliatives reach those in need. He highlighted Niger State’s potential in agriculture to contribute to national prosperity.
