Manchester United have announced the completion of £72 million signing of Rasmus Hojlund, a forward for Atalanta.
All Legit News gathered that the 20-year-old striker signed a five-year contract with a one-year option at Old Trafford. We also learnt that he won’t be available to start the new season with the Red Devils having suffered am injury during the preseason tour.
United, who beat Paris Saint-Germain to the signing of Hojlund, will initially pay Atalanta £64 million, then an additional £8 million in add-ons.
Earlier, the Red Devils completed the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea, and Andre Onana joined from Inter Milan. United are said to also be willing to allow Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, Fred, and Donny van de Beek to leave the club if a suitable buyers shows interest.
Sky Sports also claimed United is ready to replace any departing players in the market and is very interested in Sofyan Amrabat, a midfielder for Fiorentina.
Last season, United won only the Carabao Cup, and struggle to score as Anthony Martial failed to help the team due to series of injuries he suffered. He was missed for the part of last campaign, but with the addiction of Hojlund, the Red Devils will always have a striker to lead the front.
