Israeli forces conducted a significant raid on Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza, citing operational necessity and intelligence indicating Hamas activity. Global concern has escalated, with the IDF claiming Hamas uses hospitals for military operations, a charge denied by both Hamas and hospital staff. Conflicting reports exist about the situation on the ground, and there are fears for trapped civilians, including premature newborns, inside the hospital.
The IDF delivered supplies during the operation and insists on no intent to harm civilians, but the severity of the situation is causing deep concern globally.
Meanwhile, the Israeli forces are yet to prove any evidence that indeed the hospital is Hamas’ headquarter.
Since the attack on Gaza begins, the Israeli forces have destroyed most of the hospital’s on the city, with the aim to eliminate Hamas and its military faculty. But so far, they have not been able to do that.
The Israeli airstrikes have killed over 11,000 Palestinians, most of them children and women.
