Dele Momodu, a member of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, said if he has the authority to expel Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) he will do so.
Momodu expressed the desire to kick-out the former governor of Rivers State during an interview on Channels TV’s ‘Political Paradigm’ on Tuesday.
“I don’t have the power, if I had the power, I would have fired him long ago,” he said.
Recall, All Legit News had reported how Wike bragged about yet to meet a member of his party who has the authority to take any disciplinary action against him.
Wike, who confessed to have worked against the PDP during the February 25 general election, said he is working for Nigeria as Minister of FCT, and that, he is not working for the All Progressive Congress.
Wike is a PDP mber who took an appointment in an APC government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Prior to the February 25 presidential election, Wike, and other four PDP chieftains did not supported Atiku Abubakar’s candidacy due to the party failure to zone its national chairmanship to the south.
Stressing on Wike’s behavior towards the party, Momodu, however, described him as being unruly person that want to destroy the PDP.
He added: “Such an unruly person who wants to destroy our party? One individual cannot hold everybody to ransom. If we fought the military, Tinubu was part of those who fought the military in this country, and then, you will now allow a civilian dictatorship?”
As of today, Wike remains a legit member of the PDP.
