The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party during February 25 general election Atiku Abubakar says he would only drop his legal battle against President Bola Tinubu if the Supreme Court rules in BAT’s favour.
Atiku made this at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday after he was questioned about his willingness to withdraw his legal battle against the President.
In his words, “The case is still in court. I’ll only drop this fight if the court rules. If the court rules that I’m right, fine, if the court rules that Tinubu is right, fine. There’s no other court higher than the Supreme Court. That is where it all ends.”
The former Vice zpresode t, who came second during the last election is currently challenging the election’s outcome in court.
Atiku and his oarty PDP failed to claim victory at the Tribunal and have filed to appeal the judgment at Supreme Court.
