A Pro-APC group in Rivers State known to be Rivers Unity House has also joined the groups and persons in the All Progressive Congress (APC) calling for the resignation or removal of there National Chairman Comrade Adams Oshimhole.
The Convener, Mr. Kingsley Wali, who in Port Harcourt, expressed the body’s dissatisfaction with Oshiomhole’s conduct, alleged that he (Oshimhole) was responsible for over 85 percent of the challenges APC faced over the 2019 general elections across the nation.
Wali further stated; it is natural, in politics, that whenever there are losses, people have to be held accountable. Just like if the party enjoys decent measure of victory, it will obviously point out those who made it possible and then compensate them.
I have been consistent with the position that Oshiomole is 85 percent responsible for the problems APC had. It boils down to nothing but somebody feeling that he knows everything and no other person is smarter than him.
Wali who believes beyond every reasonable doubt that at this critical point in time, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party at large should ask the Chairman Adams Oshiomole to vacate the seat as he thinks it’s all for the interest of the party.
Gist Reporters gathered from our source in Port Harcourt that the Convener Mr. Kingsley Wali says if we insist on understanding or characterizing the Next Level slogan of APC, the kind of attitude Oshiomhole exhibited cannot be in tandem with the President’s vision on Nigeria.
Wali called on President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) to as a matter of urgency look into the crisis rocking the party at all level adding that it will be more disasterious if Oshimhole continues to lead the party as the National Chairman.
