Gist Reporters gathered from our source that some members of Ahoada Local Government Area is appealing to the LGA Chairman to engage talks with the banks that left out of security challenge.
An Indegene of the area Elder Ewo who made this statement on Tuesday, called on the leadership of the LGA to see how they can appeal with the said banks return as peace has come to stay in the area.
He noted that the LGA is now safe and friendly for business activities.
In his words;
Am calling on the Executive Chairman of Ahoada East LGA, Hon. Barr.) Ben Eke to open up discussion with relevant financial institutions like Eco Bank, Zenith, UBA Union bank, GTBank, Fidelity Bank, FCMB etc to relocate back to Ahoada Town, Ahoada is free for business.
He added that the people are suffering in terms of Banking Activities in the area, noting that, going all the way to Port Harcourt, Omoku and Abua to do financial transactions is too much for them to bear.
