The South Africans at the center of the xenophobic attacks are despicably barbaric.
the Nigerians at the heart of frowzy and unbecoming conducts in South Africa are equally demonic and barbaric.
But know these,:
Fellow Nigerians have been at the forefront of killing some of their countrymen when deals go awry. (remember the Uzobulu church massacre they came all the way from South Africa to settle scores).
If they had gotten their target in SA we would have given it a different narrative.
Nigerians set up their countrymen to be killed in connivance with some South African Police personnel who are on their payroll in their illicit businesses.
Most of the of the killings of Nigerians by South African Police are not accidents, they are planned and mostly generated and contracted by fellow Nigerians
Some Nigerians in Pretoria are bag snatchers, phone snatchers in broad daylight
In Hillbrow, SA most notorious city, Nigerians call the shots in gang formation, drug cartel control and card fraud.
Drug, scam and fraud money are employed to set up legit businesses as a facade to establish an alibi.
Some of the shops, car lots, businesses fall into this category.
A reminiscence of what obtained here in those days in Lagos, most of the dry cleaning outfits and business centers were established to cover for nefarious 419 activities.
Some of the Nigerians murdered by South Africa Police were under investigation and the compass was closing in on conniving policemen and officers, they eliminate them to stall the investigation from implicating them and their Naija kingpins.
Can we now get the drift of the South African Police Chief who was supporting the xenophobic attacks. He must be one of them.
They pretend to hawk on the streets but their real ware are drugs
Others were set up by fellow Nigerians in the contest for control of jurisdiction in their “Businesses”
You sell your properties, quit your jobs here only to go become a fraudster in a foreign land.
We marry their women and put them in the front row of the businesses established from the proceeds of illegitimate deals for protection and semblance of legitimacy.
After all said and done, the violence and looting is barbaric but we also must look at ourselves and learn to be good ambassadors of our country anywhere we go.
There are Nigerians doing very legit business and work in South Africa, the people know them and they are respected. Visit the hospitals, Nigerian doctors are well respected.
Let us clean our nails before we use them to pick our teeth.
One bad apple spoils the whole bunch they say.
