Ogba Ethnic Nationality Development Submit 2019: Ogba Beyond Oil And Gas

The Ogba Project International which is a product of Ogba Magazine and Umu-Ogba in diaspora has deemed it necessary to host the First Ogba Ethnic Nationality Development Submit on Monday 22nd July 2019 at the Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt Rivers State.

The theme of the submit is “Breaking New Grounds After 50-Years Of Oil And Gas Exploration

(Ogba Beyond Oil And Gas)

 

The facilitator Amb. Abali Bright who is also the President-General of the Rivers State Ethnic Youth Leaders aimed to achieve the following;

 

1. To harness the true history and quantum of Oil and Gas Exploration in Ogbaland.

2. To discuss and evaluate the Pains and Gains in the Exploration activities in Ogbaland.

3. To point out where we were, where we are and where we ought to be in Development of Ogbaland.

4. To agree and plans for 10years periodic growth pole tagged “Vision 20130” to drive Development in Ogbaland.

5. To articulate facts, expectations and make a publication demanding our rights from Government at all level, Multinational and International Agencies for Mass Development of Ogbaland. And also create better Relationship with all investors.

6. Finally, to break a new ground tagged “Taking Ogba Beyond Oil And Gas” which will open more doors for Diversification, Employment, Empowerment for the over all Development of Ogbaland.

 

The project has also in time reached out to prominent sons of Ogbaland to use the opportunity and serve as key note speakers. They are;

• Chizor Wisdom Dike
• Dr. Okechukwu Ellah
• Prof. (Barr.) Aduche Richard Wokocha
• Mr. Onwusameka Ogbowuokara

 

This first ever submit will also witness the reborn of the “Ogba Magazine Online

 

The submit is expected to have participants such as the Oba of Ogbaland, Ezes, Captains of Industries, Mds: NAOC, TOTAL, SPDC, NLGN, Professionals, Technocrats, Investors, Community CDC’s, Youth and Women Leaders are expected to be in attendance.

 

The time has come for Ogbaland to reclaim it’s lost glory.
