Many people of called for the legalization of marijuana in Ghana, and now it seems the ‘legal’ owners are about to put their efforts into actions as they plan to demonstrate.
In a statement made by the Rastafarian association, it reveals that they have schedule the demonstration to take place on May 8, with the starting point being the Freedom and Justice Park at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.
They urged all Ghanaians to throw their support behind them, and they also asked those “who’ve been harassed by the police for a roll of herb” to join the parade.
The statement reads, “If you’ve ever been harassed by the police for a roll of herb, this march is for you, to all beneficiaries of the herb, investors, dealers, farmers etc…Sharp!!!!!!!!! MarchForFreedom #NoDecriminalizationNoVote #codeblaqmedia #reggaeculturetvghana.”
